An excellent test for the great ( and not so great). It has been played by many of the worlds leading professionals - Ballesterous, Faldo, Torrence, Lyle, Langer, Norman and our own Christy O'Connor junior and senior.Strategically placed mature trees and bunkers combine with the south westerly winds from the Shannon Estuary to place a premium on club and shot selection.
