quiet and prosperous town, Limavady only has a few things worth a
visit.
The Tourist Office (call 77760307 for information) is located on
Connell St and has the following opening times:
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.30pm on Saturdays
from April to September
9am to 5pm Monday to Friday from October to March
Sightseeing and Visiting
Among the few things worth a visit in Limavady, the town hall is a nice
building which is being converted into a museum and |
arts centre. The
Roe Valley Country Park is a lovely place for walking and extends on
the sides of the River Roe, famous for its trout and salmon. The
Weaving Shed Museum provides good background on the past importance of
the valley’s flax industry. |
