Information The Northwest Tourism Office (call 433 1942 for
information) is located at the corner of Farnham and Thomas Ashe Sts
and has the following opening times: 9am to 5pm Monday to Saturday from
June to September 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday in May and October. |
Sightseeing and Visiting The Protestant Church Tower on Abbey St stands
on the site of a 13th-century friary which is supposedly at the center
of Cavan’s development.
The Cavan Crystal Factory (call 433 1800 for information) is the
second-oldest crystal manufacture in Ireland. One of the largest
centres of the country, the Cavan Equestrian Centre (call 433 2017 for
