Accommodation_Cork Popular for fishing and golf, Northern Cork’s landscapes however are not comparable to those of the rest of the county. Mallow, once called ‘the Bath of Ireland’, is a charming little town with picturesque scenery. Some interesting ruins are to be found around Mallow, such as those of a 13th century Franciscan Abbey or of the 17th century Kanturk Castle. There are regular buses and trains between Mallow and Cork. |
