Clonard House, built in 1783 by William Hatton, a local leader of The United Irishmen in 1798, is an historic listed house steeped in the events of times past. Purchased by John's father, Nicholas in 1937, Clonard House has been lovingly restored and opened it's doors as a successful guesthouse in 1980. |
