Gillaroo Lodge is located in the Atlantic coastal town of Bundoran and the proprietor is a qualified fishing guide and keen game angler. The lodge has a drying room and tackle storage facilities. Gillaroo Lodge is surrounded by some of Irelands greatest wild fisheries.Lough Melvin is located 4 miles from Gillaroo Lodge and is one of the most prolific wet fly fisheries in Ireland. It has four distinct species of wild brown trout. The River Drowes is less than half a mile away and has produced the first rod caught salmon of the season 17 times in the past 20 years.
